Engineering & Industrial Services, LLC. has been serving manufacturing and the rubber extrusion industry
since 1977. Over the years, as the industry has developed, constant changes have taken place in equipment
demands, in both form and function. By designing and building custom and standard equipment to perform a
wide range of functions, we have met these demands year after year.
From small projects - one or two of a kind with special designs, through large projects including complete
lines and integration, we fulfill our customers’ requirements.
Through the development of standard designs we are decreasing the throughput time for our equipment builds.

Controls Engineer
The responsibilities of the Controls Engineer include: Specify electrical components based on project requirements; Design electrical schematics and write Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programs; Review customized projects with Mechanical Engineering and Production to ensure the design will function as required and be the most effective to build; Oversee activation of machinery and inspect completed installations, and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational safety, and environmental standards; Maintain open communication with Production team and assist with multifaceted problems on the floor as needed; Provide comprehensive electrical training to electricians as needed; and Install sophisticated equipment and provide customized technical support to customers.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study is required. Also, two (2) years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer is required. Also, education or experience must include twelve (12) months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Designing and programming high speed industrial machinery controls systems with multiple servo axes; and 2) utilizing the following computer software and programs: AutoCAD; Studio 5000 Logix Designer; RSLogix; WinCC; and CX Programmer.
Frequent travel in the following manner is required in order to perform installation and troubleshooting of machinery: one (1) trip per month lasting two (2) days to two (2) weeks to various states throughout the United States or to China or Mexico.
