Adhesive and Coating Applications

We provide coating systems in both booth and conveyor style systems. Here are a look at the products available:

Hazard location precision peristaltic pumps deliver solvent based adhesive onto rubber extrusions. Booth features downdraft air flow, product guides, dispensing nozzles, wipers to spread the adhesive uniformly over the extrusion profile.	Similar to the booth to the left, this system features downdraft air flow, product guides and dispensing nozzles as well as CO2 fire suppression.	Robotic coating system for applying slip coating to automotive door seals. This system features a double spray booth arrangement with a common robot. A primer is applied to the door seals in the first booth and the slip coating is applied in the second booth. The primer flash dries between booths. After application of the slip coating IR lamps are used to cure the coating.

Slip coating application to extrusions. Extruded products pass through the first booth where a primer is applied to the extrusion via small air spray guns that are fed from a pressure pot. The primer is flashed dried between booths and the slip coating material is applied via small precision air spray guns fed by peristaltic pumps for precise film thickness to the extrusion. Adhesive is precisely fed onto the profile and evenly spread over the surfaces to be flocked. Precision peristaltic or gear pumps are used to supply the adhesive to the areas to be flocked. A flash tunnel is provided for solvent to evaporate prior to flocking.

Toluene Applicator is used to apply Toluene to an extruded hose to enhance adhesion for a subsequent top coat also extruded onto the profile.
